Licensed Practical Nurse - 8 East Respirology

Position Overview

Become a vital member of our skilled team of Licensed Practical Nurses as we collaborate to provide empathetic care that meets the healthcare demands of our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute LPN duties as designated by the department.
  • Deliver care for patients with chronic ventilation needs and those suffering from acute respiratory conditions.

Qualifications:

  • Completion of an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing program.
  • Valid LPN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification.
  • Preferred experience in caring for patients with ventilators, tracheostomy, central lines, complex wounds, and feeding tubes.
  • Proficiency in skills such as intramuscular injections, intravenous therapy, wound management, and medication administration.
