Job Title: Senior Transportation Engineer

Partner Staffing is currently working with a client seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Transportation Engineer to lead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projects in Edmonton.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and oversee transportation engineering projects from conceptual design to detailed design and construction.
  • Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and traffic analysis to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure project deliverables are met.
  • Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
  • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
  • Lead public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes to ensure project objectives are met.
  • Prepare and review reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
  • Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta.
  • 7 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus on road and highway design.
  • Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic analysis tools.
  • Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
  • Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
