Job Summary:
Partner Staffing is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Transportation Engineer to join their dynamic team in Edmonton. The successful candidate will lead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and transit systems, from planning and design through to implementation and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
- Lead and mentor a multidisciplinary project team.
- Ensure projects comply with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Implement quality control processes to ensure high standards of project delivery.
- Conduct regular project reviews and audits.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure cost-effective resource allocation.
- Prepare and present financial reports to stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.
- Minimum of 7+ years of experience in transportation project management.
- Strong knowledge of transportation infrastructure, including roads, highways, bridges, and public transit systems.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
