Your Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to join our Alberta Business Unit, leading the project management of transportation infrastructure projects for municipal and provincial clients. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing project delivery teams, providing project leadership and design review expertise, and serving as a trusted advisor to our clients.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and empower project delivery teams to achieve project goals and objectives.
  • Provide project leadership and design review expertise to clients, ensuring their strategic end goals are met.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to clients, applying your deep understanding of design, construction, and operation of transportation and civil infrastructure assets.
  • Lead clients through the project lifecycle, from initiation to completion, ensuring seamless project delivery.
  • Chair project and site meetings, identify and resolve project issues, and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
  • Serve as the relationship manager for select clients, nurturing trusted relationships and driving business growth.
  • Contribute to the strategic growth of the infrastructure services business unit, identifying opportunities for expansion and improvement.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in consulting or public sector engineering, delivering transportation and civil infrastructure projects for local and regional municipalities and provincial ministries.
  • Experience in closing new business, winning key pursuits, and mentoring new employees.
  • A degree or diploma in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
  • Eng. and/or PMP designations are required.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with a broad written and verbal communication skill set.
  • Effective client, stakeholder, and people management skills, with the ability to influence others and resolve complex issues.
