About the Role:
Partner Staffing is currently working with our client, a leading transportation infrastructure company, seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Transportation Project Manager to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will lead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projects, including roads, highways, bridges, and transit systems, from planning and design through to implementation and completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee the development of transportation engineering projects from conceptual design to detailed design and construction.
- Conduct and supervise feasibility studies, impact assessments, and traffic analysis.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives are met.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
- Lead public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes.
- Prepare and review reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta.
- 7+ years of experience in transportation engineering, with a focus on road and highway design.
- Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and traffic analysis tools (e.g., SYNCHRO, VISSIM).
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
- Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
