Partner Staffing is currently working with a client seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Transportation Engineer to lead and manage complex transportation infrastructure projects in Edmonton.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and oversee transportation engineering projects from conceptual design to detailed design and construction.
- Conduct feasibility studies, impact assessments, and traffic analysis to ensure project objectives are met.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and cost estimates to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project success.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers and technical staff.
- Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal regulations and standards.
- Lead public consultations and stakeholder engagement processes to ensure community involvement.
- Prepare and review reports, presentations, and documentation for clients and regulatory agencies.
- Monitor project progress, manage budgets, and make necessary adjustments to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support business development activities, including proposal preparation and client relationship management.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Professional Engineer (P.Eng) designation in Alberta.
- 7 years of experience in transportation engineering with a focus on road and highway design.
- Proficiency in engineering software, such as AutoCAD Civil 3D and traffic analysis tools.
- Strong understanding of transportation planning principles, traffic engineering, and geometric design standards.
- Proven ability to lead and work collaboratively within a team.
