We are working with a leading general contractor to find a seasoned Sr. Project Manager to lead their institutional projects.
**About the Role**
As a Sr. Project Manager with our client, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and budget-friendly delivery. Your expertise in general contracting on institutional projects will be invaluable to our client's success.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage multiple projects with a minimum of 8-10 years' experience in project management, specifically in institutional, commercial, residential, and industrial projects.
- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget, with excellent multi-tasking and time management skills.
- Identify, analyze, and expedite resolutions to challenges during all phases of construction, demonstrating strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
- Develop and implement effective project management and cost control strategies.
- Lead and motivate cross-functional teams, ensuring excellent communication and collaboration with owners, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Travel as required to ensure project success.
- Stay up-to-date with commercial construction practices, processes, and techniques, and maintain expertise in construction software, including Microsoft Office and Project.
**Requirements**
- Minimum 8-10 years' experience as a project manager in the construction industry.
- Strong leadership and team building skills, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- College or technical degree in construction-related disciplines or equivalent experience.
