- Oversee file management, including setting project budgets, planning project activities, monitoring progress, and reviewing projects for accuracy and completeness.
- Provide expert guidance on accounting and tax matters, resolving complex issues and providing insightful advice to clients.
- Mentor and manage junior staff, fostering a culture of growth and development within the team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong relationships and ensuring exceptional customer service.
- Review financial statements and tax returns for select clients, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other regulatory documents as required.
- Support the marketing efforts of the organization, promoting our services to existing and potential clients.
- CPA designation and undergraduate university degree.
- At least 6 years of public practice experience, with a strong background in reviews and compilations for a variety of clients.
- 3+ years of experience managing a team, with a proven track record of success.
- Thorough understanding of accounting standards, auditing procedures, and techniques.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise insights to clients.
- Familiarity with the challenges faced by small-to-medium sized businesses, with a strong understanding of their needs and goals.
- Independent, highly motivated, and a self-starter, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment, with a 'one team' mindset and a commitment to collaboration.
- Competitive salary range: $115,000 - $145,000.
