- Strategic Planning: Contribute significantly to the strategic planning of upcoming projects, shaping their direction from the outset.
- Daily Operations Support: Assist the project manager in managing daily project activities and staff, ensuring high-quality outcomes, client satisfaction, and timely delivery.
- Project Monitoring: Provide real-time updates to the project manager, serving as the project's central communication hub.
- Creative Problem-Solving: Address challenges proactively and suggest innovative solutions to improve project results.
- Document Management: Maintain impeccable organization of all project documentation, ensuring everything is filed and accessible.
- Database Management: Accurately enter and manage critical information in our digital project databases.
- Project Coordination: Assist in overseeing projects from inception to completion, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Collaboration: Work alongside fabricators, engineers, and architects to fulfill and exceed project specifications.
- RFI and Change Order Management: Efficiently handle Requests for Information (RFIs) and Change Orders.
- Drawing Preparation: Compile and distribute comprehensive drawing packages to clients in accordance with delivery schedules.
- Schedule Adherence: Ensure projects remain on track, meeting timelines and client objectives.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Steel Detailer, with consideration for candidates with significant experience in related fields. Familiarity with Tekla Structures or similar software is advantageous.
- Experience in structural and miscellaneous steel construction and fabrication, with a strong ability to interpret technical drawings.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently, driven by a strong sense of initiative.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to meeting deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced work setting.
