Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Rebar Fabricator to join our team at Randstad Canada. As a Rebar Fabricator, you will be responsible for fabricating reinforcing steel to required dimensions, operating a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars, and assisting other employees in various tasks.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate a bender to fabricate reinforcing steel to required dimensions
  • Operate a shearing machine to cut reinforcing steel bars to specific lengths
  • Operate an overhead crane to move, assemble, and select material to be fabricated or shipped
  • Unload trailers and store materials in storage bins
  • Assemble and load orders onto trailers for shipping
  • Adhere to safety measurements
  • Assist other employees in any of the above tasks

Requirements:

  • Overtime hours may be required to meet operational demands
  • Must have a form of reliable transportation
  • Experience with power tools is an asset
  • Basic math skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent (Preferred)
