About the Role

Bombardier Transportation GmbH is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Business Partner to join our team. As a key member of our HR department, you will play a critical role in supporting the business and driving strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with business leaders to understand their needs and develop strategic HR plans to support business objectives.
  • Design, develop, and implement HR programs and initiatives to enhance employee engagement, retention, and development.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee and labour relations issues, including grievances, arbitrations, and collective agreement interpretations.
  • Provide HRBP support, advice, and counsel to directors and their direct reports, including coaching and development.
  • Collaborate with management to communicate departmental objectives, develop policies, and implement initiatives.
  • Develop processes and metrics to support business goals, generate HR reports, and analyze data to inform decision-making.
Labour Relations Responsibilities
  • Manage and resolve complex labour relations issues, including collective agreement interpretations, grievances, and arbitrations.
  • Conduct effective, objective, and comprehensive investigations.
  • Partner with business leaders to provide coaching and development on labour relations and employee management.
  • Maintain knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations, including collective agreements and labour standards.
  • Ensure the implementation of all labour relations processes and procedures.
Requirements
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in HR, with a focus on labour relations and business partnering.
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing environment with a union-represented employee population.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead and inspire change within the organization, ensuring that changes are well-received and effectively implemented.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
