Job Summary

CB Canada is seeking an experienced Total Rewards Manager to join their growing team. Reporting to the Director of Total Rewards and Payroll, the Total Rewards Manager will be leading a team of 10 Compensation & Benefits team members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement strategies that support the organization's overall corporate culture through initiatives that provide competitive compensation, benefits, and other rewards.
  • Evaluate existing total rewards policies and programs and recommend changes to ensure programs are market competitive, internally equitable, and aligned with company's strategic goals.
  • Oversee the review of annual performance appraisals, coaching, and advising all levels of management on performance ratings, and managing the exempt enterprise-wide performance management process.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to job evaluation panel discussions for exempt and bargaining unit jobs across the enterprise and address related issues, including review of appeals/grievances, providing input to arbitration cases to ensure successful resolution.
Requirements
  • 5-7 years of progressive Compensation & Benefits experience, ideally in a multi-unionized environment.
  • Previous management experience is a must.
  • CPHR or CPP considered an asset.
