Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at LAHORI KARAHI TASTE INC. as a Food Preparation Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and preparing complete meals or individual dishes and foods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Menu Planning and Food Preparation
    • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
    • Requisition food and kitchen supplies
    • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
    • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Kitchen Operations and Management
    • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
    • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
    • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
    • Clean kitchen and work areas
    • Manage kitchen operations
  • Customer Service and Safety
    • Ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
    • Provide excellent customer service
    • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
    • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in the field
  • Language and Communication
    • Work Language: English
  • Work Environment and Conditions
    • Fast-paced environment
