About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to join our team at Express Pest Control. As a Pest Control Technician, you will be responsible for providing effective pest control services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Identify buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Provide Estimates of costs for treatment and removal services, taking into account the severity of the infestation and the type of treatment required.
  • Determine Treatment plans, including the type of chemical mixture to use and the areas to target.
  • Prepare and Apply chemical mixtures on infested areas, following safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Fumigate households and other areas as needed, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Set Traps to capture and remove animals, using humane and effective methods.
  • Clean and Sanitize areas that harbor pests, using specialized equipment and techniques.
  • Advise Clients on how to prevent pest infestations, providing guidance on sanitation, hygiene, and pest control best practices.
Work Environment

As a Pest Control Technician, you will work in a variety of settings, including residential and commercial properties. You will be required to work independently and as part of a team, using your skills and expertise to provide effective pest control services.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in pest control or a related field.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
