Job Title: Track Engineer

Matchtech North America is seeking a skilled Track Engineer to support the delivery of engineering and overhaul activities for the Track Discipline. As a key member of our team, you will ensure the design and construction of assets meet relevant legislation and standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Implement railway systems and procedures to deliver cost-effective, high-quality, and safe approaches to design, construction, commissioning, and technical activities.
  • Review relevant legislation and liaise with governmental departments to ensure compliance.
  • Monitor the competence of Project Engineers working on Track Discipline projects and provide guidance, direction, and briefing.
  • Apply engineering controls and procedures to projects, checking design and construction contracts for reference to Company standards.
  • Conduct risk assessments and HAZOP analyses to ensure environmental aspects are managed in accordance with Environmental Policy.
  • Monitor projects for compliance with Company standards and Programme project control procedures.
  • Advise project and programme management on construction activities, testing, and commissioning, and site supervision.
  • Ensure design and construction elements meet legislative requirements, including construction design management regulations.
  • Undertake reviews of design and construction activities and arrange audits of contractors to monitor safety and quality.

Requirements: The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of railway systems and procedures, as well as excellent communication and project management skills.
