Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Signal and Communications Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Canadian National Railway. As a key member of our maintenance crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of our rail network.

Key Responsibilities
  • Education and Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required, with experience in signal and communications maintenance being an asset.
  • Work Site Environment: You will be working at heights, in cold and refrigerated environments, and in other challenging conditions.
  • Work Setting: You will be working at various locations across our rail network, including outdoors.
  • Apprenticeship Training: You will have the opportunity to participate in Level Three, Four, and Five apprenticeship training programs.
  • Screening Questions: You will be required to answer a series of screening questions, including your availability for shift or on-call work, your ability to work in Canada, and your willingness to relocate.
  • Support for Veterans: We are committed to supporting Veterans and other candidates with military experience through targeted hiring initiatives and partnerships with government and community programs.
Requirements
  • Language: You must be fluent in English or French.
  • Hours: You will be working 40 hours per week.
