Job Title: Senior Advisor Risk and Regulatory

At National Bank of Canada (NBC), we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor Risk and Regulatory to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Regulatory department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage new projects and business initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
  • Provide expert support to the Risk and Regulatory team in achieving its objectives.
  • Review and analyze documentation provided by regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Legal and Compliance, to ensure effective risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training programs to ensure employees understand regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years' relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory environment in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong understanding of risk management and regulatory compliance principles.
