Job Title: Senior Advisor Risk and Regulatory

At National Bank of Canada (NBC), we're seeking a highly skilled Senior Advisor Risk and Regulatory to join our team. As a key member of our Risk and Regulatory department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the bank's compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage new projects and business initiatives to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
  • Provide expert support to the Risk and Regulatory team in achieving its objectives.
  • Review and analyze documentation from regulatory bodies, industry associations, and other stakeholders to stay up-to-date on regulatory changes and industry developments.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Provide training and guidance to colleagues on regulatory requirements and risk management best practices.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and 7+ years' relevant experience.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory environment in the financial services industry.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong English language skills; French language skills an asset.
