About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Risk Analyst to join our team. As a Senior Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for providing ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and insights on the consumer credit portfolio. You will develop credit and fraud loss forecasts, including research, insights, model updates, and recommendations.

About the Qualifications

  • 3 - 5 years of experience in consumer lending analytical role.
  • Bachelor's degree in analytics, business intelligence, data science, economics, engineering, or statistics.
  • Accounting or finance background is nice to have.
  • Ability to gather and visualize data, using Excel and Power BI and share insights through storytelling.
  • Experience building predictive models.
  • Experience working in cloud platforms (preferably AWS), Python or R is beneficial.
  • Ability to distill and communicate complex analytical recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

About the Day-to-Day

  • Provide ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and insights on the consumer credit portfolio.
  • Develop credit and fraud loss forecasts, including research, insights, model updates, and recommendations.
  • Manage credit risk reporting deliverables to be completed on time.
  • Monitor current loss forecasting models and identify and act on improvement opportunities.
  • Develop relationships with stakeholders to provide meaningful insights.
  • Lead the implementation, updating and monitoring of all compliance processes, as it relates to loss forecasting and reporting.
  • Complete credit risk and modelling market research, requirement definition, and model concept development.

About the Compensation

Peoples Trust is pleased to offer employees a competitive annual salary plus a discretionary profit share opportunity. Salary for this position will vary between $85,000 and $90,000 per year depending on the knowledge, skills, abilities and experience that the chosen candidate possess.
