Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst to join our Credit Risk team at Equitable Bank. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting commercial credit reviews, providing feedback and recommendations on credit policies, and assisting in the oversight of credit functions across the business lines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct commercial credit reviews in line with relevant policies and procedures to assess the soundness of underwriting procedures and processes.
  • Provide feedback and recommendations on credit policies to ensure they are adequate and aligned with the Bank's risk appetite.
  • Assist in the oversight of credit functions across the business lines to ensure adherence to credit policies.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to Senior Management on credit risk across the Company.
  • Support the development and enhancement of relevant credit risk policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the review of credit policies and procedures and implementation of best practices.
  • Provide input for the development and maintenance of programs to support a comprehensive and effective compliance regime.
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of Credit Risk Management experience.
  • 5-8 years of lending experience with expertise in commercial banking, retail lending, and portfolio management.
  • Post-secondary education (diploma/degree) in business or finance.
  • Demonstrated performer who is a team player, detail-oriented, and excels at executing complex tasks.
  • Strong knowledge of compliance laws and regulations.
  • Ability to thrive in a constantly changing environment and perform well in a high-volume, high-intensity environment.
  • Proven ability to work toward team goals and objectives.
  • Ability to communicate to Senior Management, written and verbally, in a clear, concise, and professional manner.
