Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to fill the position of Indigenous Academic Tutor at the University of Ottawa. As a tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting students in their academic journey, particularly in the area of Constitutional Law II.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide academic support to students in Constitutional Law II, focusing on research, preparation, and grading.
  • Develop and implement effective teaching strategies to enhance student learning outcomes.
  • Collaborate with faculty members and other tutors to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
  • Stay up-to-date with curriculum developments and best practices in academic tutoring.

Requirements and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have a strong academic background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and creatively. You should also have prior tutoring experience and a demonstrated understanding of the barriers faced by Indigenous learners and communities.
