Course Overview

The University of Ottawa is seeking a qualified instructor to teach a course on law practice entrepreneurship. As a leader in the legal profession, the successful candidate will have significant practical experience working in or operating a small or solo law practice.

Responsibilities

  • Teach a course on law practice entrepreneurship during the January intensive session
  • Develop and deliver course materials, including readings, guest lectures, and practical assignments
  • Assess student performance and provide feedback

Requirements

The successful candidate will have an LL.B., J.D., or equivalent, and membership in the Law Society of Ontario in good standing. Prior teaching experience is considered an asset.

Additional Information

This course is designed to explore the key issues in running an ethical, professional, and viable small practice. The instructor will be expected to demonstrate expertise in law practice management and entrepreneurship.
