Business Development Associate

Join Sun Life Financial as a Business Development Partner and play a key role in the growth and success of our team. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of developing Advisors to achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Onboard and develop a team of 8-15 developing Advisors over a period of 36-48 months.
- Lead developing Advisors through training and development programs to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Work with developing Advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
- Ensure assigned Advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory and Sun Life obligations.
- Educate and support Advisors on the characteristics of the local market and how to effectively serve clients.
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive sales growth and client service excellence.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational effectiveness and adherence to business plans.
- Strong sales management and business development skills.
- Excellent mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Previous experience in an Advisor role, with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors, is an asset.
- Previous people leadership experience is an asset.
- Strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
