Business Development Partner

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team of professionals who are passionate about delivering exceptional client service and driving business growth. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of developing advisors to achieve their full potential and contribute to the success of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the onboarding and development of 8-15 developing advisors over a period of 36-48 months.
  • Work with advisors to meet financial and strategic objectives, including sales growth, productivity, and client engagement.
  • Ensure advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered, and adhere to defined products and suitability guidelines.
  • Educate advisors on the characteristics of the local market and provide guidance on sales management and business development strategies.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance advisor skills and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure operational effectiveness and adherence to business plans.
Requirements
  • Valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province where the Financial Centre is located.
  • Strong sales management and business development skills, with a proven track record of developing successful advisors.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence and motivate others.
  • Previous experience in an advisor role or people leadership position, with a strong working knowledge of the regulatory environment.
