Position Overview

The role of a Medical Administrative Assistant at DAY SPRING DENTAL is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our clinic. This position involves a variety of administrative tasks that support both the healthcare team and our patients.

Educational Requirements
  • Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required.
Work Environment

The position is based in a clinical setting, providing a dynamic and engaging atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient interviews to gather comprehensive case histories.
  • Manage appointment scheduling and confirmations.
  • Process insurance claims and other related documentation.
  • Maintain an organized filing system for patient records.
  • Order necessary supplies and oversee inventory management.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries as needed.
  • Establish and implement office procedures and routines.
  • Prepare and format medical reports and correspondence electronically.
  • Initiate and uphold confidential medical files and records.
  • Draft meeting agendas and accurately transcribe minutes.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This role may involve overseeing a team of 5-10 individuals.

Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Windows is essential.
