Required Qualifications

- A diploma in Medical Office Administration from an accredited institution or at least one year of recent relevant clerical experience in a healthcare environment is mandatory.

- A typing speed of at least 30 words per minute is necessary.
- Proficiency in fast and accurate data entry is required.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel, is essential.
- Experience with patient-related databases is advantageous.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and work independently in a fast-paced setting is crucial.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are necessary.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities are required.
- A strong customer service orientation is essential.
- Ability to respond diplomatically to inquiries from staff, volunteers, patients, families, and the public is required.
- Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is mandatory.
- Physical capability to perform job functions, including prolonged periods of sitting, standing, walking, and maneuvering various wheeled equipment, is required.
- A satisfactory record of employment and attendance is necessary.
- Previous experience in an emergency setting is required.

Additional Information
Work Schedule: This position requires availability for various rotating 12-hour shifts, including days and nights, from Monday to Sunday, subject to operational needs.
Compensation: Competitive hourly wage based on experience and qualifications.
