The individual will be tasked with creating, curating, and disseminating content that effectively conveys our company’s values, culture, and accomplishments.

In a dynamic organization like CSV Midstream, the ideal candidate is someone who can operate both independently and collaboratively, adeptly transitioning from strategic thinking to hands-on execution.

Key Responsibilities:

Communications Strategy Development
  • Assist in formulating a comprehensive communications strategy that amplifies the 'Creating Shared Value' narrative and elevates key messages.
  • Establish and maintain a communications calendar to plan and organize communication activities throughout the year, including significant themes and topics relevant to our company and community, while tracking dates for conferences, trade shows, and industry events.
Narrative Development
  • Identify and craft compelling narratives that highlight our company’s impact, innovations, and culture.
  • Produce content across various formats including articles, blog posts, videos, infographics, and podcasts.
  • Collaborate with employees, customers, and partners to gather and share their stories.
  • Develop and refine the CSV 'voice'.

To effectively implement the strategy and narrate the CSV story, the Communications Lead should possess hands-on experience in several of the following areas: social media management, internal and external communications, corporate branding, promotional material development, employer branding, sustainability reporting, website management and design, media relations, photography/videography, graphic design, community engagement, and event planning. The Communications Lead will have access to both internal and external resources to support the tactical elements of these areas.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Strong background and experience in communications, branding, and social media management.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling capabilities.
  • Meticulous attention to grammar and linguistic precision in crafting CSV's written voice and narrative.
  • Creativity and innovation in project approaches and problem-solving.
  • Accountable and collaborative with the ability to think strategically while executing operational tasks.
  • Resourceful and cost-effective, yet capable of leveraging a robust network of creative specialists as needed.
  • Highly organized to ensure the team meets deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in managing social media platforms and implementing new tools and content management systems.
  • Basic graphic design skills and familiarity with design software (self-taught, formal certifications not required).
  • Understanding of analytics tools to monitor and report on campaign performance.
  • Ability to create multimedia content (e.g., videos, posters, podcasts).
  • Experience with employer branding and employee engagement initiatives.

Please note that this role may require occasional travel to operations, with timing typically aligned with community events and company engagements, necessitating some flexibility.
