About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Compliance Manager to join our team at Company 1 - The Manufacturers Life Insurance Company. As a key member of our Compliance department, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our organization remains compliant with all relevant regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Regulatory Compliance Guidance: Provide expert guidance and advice on regulatory compliance matters to various stakeholders within the organization.
  • Policy Development and Enforcement: Develop, implement, and enforce policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks to ensure the organization's continued compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Training and Education: Provide training and education to employees on regulatory compliance matters to ensure a culture of compliance within the organization.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with various stakeholders, including employees, management, and external partners, to ensure that regulatory compliance requirements are met.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as law, business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in a compliance role, with a strong background in regulatory compliance.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, including laws and regulations related to the financial services industry.
