About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Retail Sales Associate to join our team at Ashcroft Grocery Store. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a high level of product knowledge, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively communicate with customers and make informed sales recommendations.
  • Sales Performance: Meet or exceed sales targets by effectively promoting and selling products to customers.
  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate inventory levels and reporting any discrepancies to management.
  • Store Operations: Participate in visual merchandising, stockroom organization, and other store operations as required.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of retail sales experience.
  • Work Setting: Confectionery/corner store or supermarket/grocery store environment.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lift up to 25 pounds, and stand for long periods.
