Project Management Coordinator

Summary: Reporting directly to the National Manager of Project Management, the Project Management Coordinator will play a pivotal role in supporting both the Project Management and Sales Teams. The selected candidate will oversee and manage product material reservations and project shipments while coordinating effectively with customer and project support teams. Additionally, the candidate will ensure the organization of material delivery timelines through routine follow-ups to guarantee timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organize projects in alignment with directives from Project Managers and/or Account Managers, ensuring a streamlined workflow for scheduling, reserving, managing backorders, and releasing products.
  • Maintain personal reporting to inform and update Project Managers and/or Account Managers on the status of ongoing projects.
  • Collaborate with Project Administrators to facilitate project invoicing and billing until completion.
  • Coordinate Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs) as necessary.
  • Manage the shipping of materials and transfers, ensuring timely delivery based on project specifications.
  • Engage with other departments and branches to secure inventory or manage order holds.
  • Update customers with shipping information and provide tracking details.
  • Perform additional administrative tasks as required.

Requirements and Skills:

  • College Diploma or equivalent qualification.
  • Program related to manufacturing electronics is considered an asset.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant project coordination experience.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills, coupled with effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Dynamics AX software.
  • Detail-oriented with robust problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proactive and capable of managing multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
