Responsibilities:

* Establish efficient methods to meet work schedules and requisition food and kitchen supplies
* Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
* Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
* Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
* Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
* Establish work schedules

Requirements:

* 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail
* Excellent client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, and flexibility
* Ability to assist with immediate settlement needs of newcomers and/or refugees
* Offers on-the-job training tailored to youth and mentorship, coaching, and/or networking opportunities for Indigenous workers
* Applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities
