Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Service Team Lead to join our team at Jimmy the Greek. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food is prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively to meet customer needs.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customer needs are met and that they receive exceptional service.
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food is prepared and served in a timely manner.
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to ensure that our restaurant is operating efficiently.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced restaurant environment, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service.
    • Work collaboratively with other members of the food service team to achieve common goals.
Requirements
  • Education
    • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience
    • Will train.
Work Setting

This is a permanent position, working 30 hours per week. The work language is English.
