Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Kimchi House Korean Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are consistently met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including cooks, servers, and hosts/hostesses.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation and safety procedures, and customer service standards.
  • Operations Management
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations and performance.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Government Programs
    • Recognized employer with a permanent work term and a work language of English.
    • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
