Kitchen Supervisor

The Birch Kitchen and Bar is seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our dynamic team. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen and delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities- Meal Preparation: Prepare and cook a variety of meals and individual dishes, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Kitchen Inspection: Regularly inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
- Staff Training: Train kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
- Supply Management: Order necessary supplies and equipment to ensure the kitchen operates efficiently.
- Supervision: Oversee kitchen staff and helpers, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Inventory Control: Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment inventory.
- Sanitation: Ensure the kitchen and work areas are kept clean and organized.
- Operational Management: Manage daily kitchen operations to ensure a seamless workflow.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Employment Type: Permanent position.
- Language: Proficiency in English is required.
- Work Hours: Availability to work 30 to 40 hours per week.
