Overview

The Role

Moosehead Breweries Limited, the last major brewery in Canada owned by Canadians, is seeking a driven and skilled sales professional for the position of Territory Manager. This role is pivotal in enhancing Moosehead's competitive edge at the point of sale for both On-Premise and Retail Customers.

The Territory Manager will be responsible for nurturing and managing relationships with various licensee and retail accounts while also identifying and pursuing new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory volume objectives within set resources
  • Sustain and increase sales volume for current clients
  • Engage with on-premise and retail outlets within the designated territory to optimize volume and value share
  • Develop and execute a profitable prospecting strategy targeting high-potential customers
  • Educate consumers and clients about brands, products, and promotions
  • Take ownership of the territory sales strategy, including call planning, account management, promotion evaluation, and competitive analysis
  • Cultivate strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders
  • Ensure optimal visibility of brands through effective merchandising
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement
  • Implement and ensure adherence to sales programs
  • Maintain compliance with established sales processes
  • Handle all administrative tasks, including reporting, forecasting, and territory planning
  • Analyze sales trends to inform strategic business decisions
  • Act responsibly regarding the consumption of Moosehead products and other alcoholic beverages

Required Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of sales experience in the beverage alcohol or consumer packaged goods sector
  • A passion for beer is a significant advantage
  • A degree or diploma in business with a focus on sales or marketing, or equivalent experience
  • Strong analytical capabilities, including quantitative analysis
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in computer productivity software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Ability to lift 20 kilograms multiple times throughout the day
  • Must possess a reliable vehicle, valid driver's license, and insurance
