Position Overview
Aramark Canada is on the lookout for dedicated Team Leaders to enhance the service experience at Tim Horton's. Reporting to the Supervisor, the Team Leader plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service, crafting quality beverages and food items, and fostering a welcoming store atmosphere while guiding team members.
Key Responsibilities- Consistently prepare high-quality beverages, whole bean products, and food items in accordance with established recipes and presentation standards.
- Prepare food items made to order, ensuring freshness and quality.
- Adhere to operational policies and procedures, particularly regarding cash handling and safety protocols, to maintain a secure environment for all staff during shifts.
- Support fellow team members as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Handle light cash management tasks, including processing transactions, counting cash, and participating in cash audits.
- Exhibit regular attendance and punctuality to maintain team efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness in the work area and manage waste effectively.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives.
- Deliver courteous and quality service to all customers.
- Utilize kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and ovens as required.
- Engage in food preparation, including merchandising food stations and serving food.
- Ensure continuous cleaning and sanitization of the work environment.
- Restock shelves, refrigerators, and preparation areas as necessary.
- Comply with all Aramark and franchise policies and procedures.
- Assist the Supervisor in adjusting team schedules based on staffing needs.
- Facilitate team meetings to discuss safety protocols, events, and relevant updates.
- Take on other responsibilities as required to support the team.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the food service industry.
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership capacity.
- Outstanding customer service abilities.
- Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
- Capable of working independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
- Flexible availability, including evenings and weekends as needed.
