About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Worker to join our team at Assa Enterprises Inc. as a Supportive Caregiver. In this role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients by providing personalized assistance with daily living activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Personal Care: Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and other aspects of personal hygiene, promoting their independence and dignity.
  • Medication Administration: Safely administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring clients receive the care they need.
  • Household Management: Assist with light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation, maintaining a clean and comfortable living environment.
  • Companionship: Provide emotional support and companionship to clients, helping to alleviate feelings of loneliness and isolation.
  • Transportation: Assist clients with transportation to appointments, social events, and other activities, promoting their mobility and engagement.
  • Light Exercise: Encourage clients to participate in regular exercise, such as walking, to maintain their physical health and well-being.
Work Environment

As a Supportive Caregiver, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often with multiple clients and tasks to manage. You will be required to work independently, using your judgment and initiative to prioritize tasks and make decisions.

Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: Will train
  • Language: English
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week
