Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager, Youth Development to lead our Youthrive and York Region Pop-Up Programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, leading, and managing the day-to-day operations of the programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and organizational policies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development and Implementation
    • Develop and implement programs that promote physical activity, healthy eating and nutrition, positive personal development, and wellness for elementary and primary school-aged children and families.
    • Work with program staff, volunteers, and community partners to research, develop, and facilitate various activities.
  • Leadership and Management
    • Provide leadership and direction to staff in terms of operations and programs, in accordance with the approved Strategic Plan.
    • Ensure that appropriate policies, procedures, and methods are being utilized.
  • Communication and Representation
    • Communicate the mission and values of 360°kids to employees and other stakeholders.
    • Represent 360°kids and/or the Youthrive and York Region Pop-Up programs to the social service network, regulators, and to the general public.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Post-Secondary degree/diploma in a child/youth-related field or equivalent combination of education and experience working with children or youth.
    • Minimum of three years' experience working with children or youth, plus at least one year supervisory or management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Leadership skills, including motivation, delegation, coaching/mentoring, and empowerment.
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to be adaptable considering the unique qualities of each client.
    • Exceptional interpersonal skills that promote positive team building, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
