Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Early Childhood Educator to join our team at TET Management Inc. as a Child Care Centre professional. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that cater to the diverse needs of children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and engage children in creative play, promoting their cognitive, emotional, and social growth.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers, community service providers, and parents/guardians to ensure the well-being and development of children.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identify potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare reports for parents/guardians or supervisors.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a safe and healthy environment, adhering to security and safety protocols, including criminal record checks and medical exams.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a child care centre setting.
  • Personal Qualities: Excellent interpersonal skills, efficient oral communication, reliability, and a team player attitude.
Working Conditions
  • Work Setting: Child care centre.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 44 hours per week.
