360°kids is seeking a Relief Youth Worker to provide client-centered support to youth in various programs. The successful candidate will work with youth to assess their immediate needs, provide support, and assist them in achieving success in transitioning to securing housing.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide a safe and welcoming environment for youth in care.
  • Respond to immediate needs, provide supports, and resolve conflicts.
  • Assess housing needs and help youth find housing.
  • Make referrals to internal programs and external partners.
  • Provide ongoing life skills support and mentoring.
  • Complete daily documentation, including case notes and statistics.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a child/youth related field.
  • Minimum two years' experience working with at-risk or street-involved youth.
  • Extensive knowledge of harm reduction principles and trauma-informed care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Current First Aid/CPR certification and vulnerable sector screening.
