The Manufacturing Engineer will play a crucial role in enhancing product manufacturing by facilitating the adoption of design and operational modifications aimed at elevating quality, minimizing costs, and boosting performance.

Qualifications:
  1. Degree or Diploma in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering
  2. Proficient in CAD software
  3. Strong skills in documentation and presentations
  4. Experience in continuous improvement techniques such as Lean Manufacturing, including 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Setup Reduction, or Six Sigma
  5. 3 to 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
  6. Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate effectively in a team
  7. Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
  8. Fluent in English with strong written and verbal communication skills
  9. Preferred: Experience in product design
  10. Preferred: Background in window and door manufacturing
Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement enhancements to product designs
  2. Maintain comprehensive documentation and conduct audits for structural and thermal evaluations
  3. Engage in Lean initiatives to promote efficiency
  4. Introduce innovative manufacturing and assembly techniques to the production line
  5. Evaluate current production processes and implement rapid setup solutions
  6. Formulate and execute cost-saving strategies
  7. Specify, procure, and oversee the installation of new equipment
  8. Collaborate with suppliers and clients to address issues
  9. Design tools, jigs, and fixtures for manufacturing purposes
  10. Identify and resolve manufacturing and design challenges
  11. Conduct time studies to optimize processes
  12. Assess Special Product Requests for production and purchased part needs
