Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager, Liquidity and Funding Management to join our team at BMO. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping our enterprise-wide liquidity and funding management framework.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive liquidity and funding management strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Provide expert advice to senior leaders on liquidity and funding risk management, including the development of risk appetite limits.
  • Collaborate with Market Risk Management to identify, measure, and manage liquidity and funding risks.
  • Design and implement processes to monitor and report on liquidity and funding risks.
  • Develop and maintain models and assumption frameworks to measure liquidity and funding risk.
  • Provide input into the planning and implementation of liquidity and funding risk modeling activities and programs.
  • Integrate information from multiple sources to enable more efficient processes, enhanced analysis, and streamlined reporting.
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports, and dashboards.
  • Support the development and execution of liquidity and funding-related strategic initiatives in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in a related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Seasoned professional with a combination of education, experience, and industry knowledge.
  • Verbal and written communication skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Influence skills - In-depth/Expert.
  • Collaboration and team skills, with a focus on cross-group collaboration - In-depth/Expert.
