About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team as an Addictions Support Worker at Home Base Yellowknife.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction, mental health, and homelessness.
  • Work in a youth drop-in centre and shelter for the homeless, providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to develop and implement individualized support plans.
  • Conduct assessments and provide referrals to relevant services.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
Requirements
  • First Aid and CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varying hours, including evenings and weekends.
