About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join our team at Home Base Yellowknife as an Addictions Worker. In this role, you will provide support and guidance to individuals struggling with addiction, working closely with our team to deliver effective services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide education and support to individuals with addiction issues, promoting healthy lifestyle choices and coping mechanisms.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement programs aimed at preventing homelessness and supporting at-risk youth.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment, providing excellent customer service and ensuring the well-being of our clients.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with community partners, promoting a collaborative approach to service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field.
  • Certifications: First Aid Certificate and CPR Certificate.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Temporary.
  • Hours: 1 to 24 hours per week.
