About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Addictions Worker to join our team at Home Base Yellowknife. As an Addictions Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with addictions and mental health challenges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide education and support to individuals with addictions and mental health challenges
  • Develop and implement individualized plans to address client needs
  • Collaborate with community agencies and healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments and provide counseling services to clients
  • Maintain accurate records and reports
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field
  • Language: English
  • Work Setting: Youth drop-in centre or shelter for the homeless
  • Supervision: No supervision responsibility
