Key Responsibilities- Provide support and guidance to individuals with addictions, focusing on education, experience, and personal growth.
- Work in a youth drop-in centre and shelter for the homeless, promoting a safe and supportive environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement programs for at-risk youth, addressing their unique needs and challenges.
- Conduct first aid and CPR training, ensuring the well-being of clients and staff.
- Build relationships with clients, understanding their strengths and areas for improvement.
- No degree, certificate, or diploma required, but a strong passion for supporting individuals with addictions.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a related field, with a focus on education and personal growth.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Criminal record check and driving record check (abstract) required.
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
