About the Role:

Fed Supply is seeking a highly skilled Export Supervisor to join our team. As an Export Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing international payment collection processes and managing export documentation procedures.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable Management:
    • Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of international payments.
    • Coordinate with international customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure prompt payment processing.
    • Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.
  • Collection of International Payments:
    • Oversee the export invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues and optimize collection processes.
    • Monitor payment status and forecast cash receipts.
  • Export Documentation:
    • Manage the preparation and verification of export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists and certificates of origin.
    • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements of destination countries according to sales contracts.
    • Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers and other relevant parties to process export transactions.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise a team of accounts receivable and export documentation coordinators, providing guidance, training and feedback.
    • Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to increase team effectiveness and individual growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
  • Proven experience in accounts receivable management.
  • In-depth knowledge of export documentation requirements and international trade.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office suites and experience with augmented reality software/systems.
  • Previous experience of supervising or leading a team is highly desirable.
