Sales Operations Role Overview

Export Development Canada (EDC) is a financial Crown corporation dedicated to helping Canadian businesses grow globally. As a Sales Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in supporting our sales teams to achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support sales operations through various activities, including data quality maintenance and business software application utilization.
  • Identify, enhance, and follow specific processes and procedures to maximize workflow efficiencies.
  • Provide quality regional office sales operations support to Relationship Managers, including regular meetings and documentation gathering.
  • Contribute to the achievement of continuous improvement initiatives and promote sales operation processes that drive efficiency across the organization.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 0-2 years of experience in sales operations, marketing, or a related field.
  • Bilingualism in both official languages (French and English).
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to follow up with external and internal partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and data entry skills.
  • Ability to work with various applications, including CRM, Office 365, MS Teams, and SharePoint.

Assets

  • Understanding of financial and accounting terms.
  • Prior experience in sales operations support.
  • Prior experience in administrative support.
  • Prior experience working in a financial institution or corporate entity.

Compensation Details

  • Salaries typically range from $49,694 to $66,259 annually, based on qualifications and experiences, plus a performance-based incentive.

Location

  • Export Development Canada is a hybrid work environment.
  • This role will be performed from EDC's headquarters in Ottawa, or Toronto/Montreal Community Hub.
  • Relocation assistance is available for eligible candidates.
