Export Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Export Supervisor to join our team at Fed Supply. As a key member of our supply chain team, you will be responsible for overseeing international payment collection processes and managing export documentation procedures.
Main Responsibilities:
- Accounts Receivable Management:
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable aging reports to ensure timely collection of international payments.
- Coordinate with international customers to resolve payment discrepancies and ensure prompt payment processing.
- Develop and implement strategies to minimize bad debts and improve cash flow.
- Collection of International Payments:
- Oversee the export invoicing process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with contractual requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve payment issues and optimize collection processes.
- Monitor payment status and forecast cash receipts.
- Export Documentation:
- Manage the preparation and verification of export documents, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements of destination countries according to sales contracts.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other relevant parties to process export transactions.
- Team Leadership:
- Supervise a team of accounts receivable and export documentation coordinators, providing guidance, training, and feedback.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive work environment to increase team effectiveness and individual growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in accounts receivable management.
- In-depth knowledge of export documentation requirements and international trade.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and identify trends.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel and other MS Office suites and experience with augmented reality software/systems.
- Previous experience of supervising or leading a team is highly desirable.
