We are excited to announce an opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Psychologist to become part of our Outpatient Psychiatry Program at PHSA. In this pivotal role, you will contribute significantly to the mental health and well-being of children, adolescents, and their families.

Primary Duties:

  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement service plans for specific programs.
  • Perform thorough psychodiagnostic evaluations and provide a range of therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of assessments, treatment strategies, and progress.
  • Offer support and direction to treatment teams and individual clients.
  • Engage in program development and assessment activities.
  • Lead training sessions and in-service presentations.
  • Stay informed on the latest research and contribute to ongoing studies.
  • Supervise and assess the performance of Psychology Residents and other trainees.
  • Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Registered or eligible for registration with the College of Psychologists of British Columbia.
  • Doctoral degree in child clinical or developmental psychology.
  • Recent experience in psychodiagnostic or clinical settings.
